Home Automation

Laurel, MD - August 1, 2008, - www.automatedliving.com, Home Automated Living (HAL), publisher and international leader of award winning natural speech home control software products including HAL2000, HALdeluxe, HALbasic and HALpro, unveils their latest version 4.0 with an all new Graphic User Interface, increased control capabilities and enhanced support for interfaces such Insteon and UPB.

The new Instant Message Dispatcher (HALimd) is now among the list of the various ways in which HAL let’s you communicate with your home. Just pull up your Yahoo™ Instant Messenger from your cell phone, office PC or PDA and send a text message back to your home to adjust the temperature, change the state of your security system or just to get the spa ready for when you get home!

HAL can even send you, or anyone you choose, messages with information such as, voice mail you may have received, that the temperature of your home has changed or if a security zone has been triggered. Tie this in with the Digital Video Center (HALdvc) and now you can log into the HAL HomeNet to view what the camera captured when the zone was violated. The new IMD is just another example of Home Automated Living giving the customer freedom to choose the most convenient way to interact with their home.

The latest version of HAL has a new look and feel to it
